Weekend Fun

We had a great weekend! I backed the van into the garage on Friday night after going grocery shopping and it hasn't moved since then. We didn't go anywhere, which was actually quite nice. The boys got to play out in the yard with Tim. Benny and Tim worked on a new addition to their swinging repertoire. Tim will catch Benny mid-swing and then lift him up above his head and let go. Benny thinks it's awesome! Sammy still prefers slow and steady.

My garden is doing well. A quick note about my sunflowers. I chose the particular seed that I planted be their max height was supposed to be 4 feet. The above picture does not give an accurate representation of the sunflowers' height. So this should do the trick!

The boys really got excited when I surprised them with sidewalk chalk. I drew hopscotch, Sammy thought that was fun.

I drew this...and it's awesome.

Benny drew a wide variety of things. Birthday cakes, his own rendition of hopscotch, a caterpillar, and here he's drawing a car.
The last one is my most favorite picture that I've taken in a while.

no mention of the awesome ramp i made out of dirt from the school yard and the brick wall to retain it? it's only the most awesome feat in engineering since...since....oh yeah, that incredible snow fort. that's cool.

please post a picture of said ramp so we can discuss the engineering quality and make comparisons to the snow fort (or mud igloo)

that snow fort was the first picture on the blog for so long I feel like I spent a night sleeping in it
