On Sunday we journeyed to Dwight to celebrate Danny's first birthday and Sammy's second birthday. All the usual suspects were there - the Mahorney's, the Kresl-Randal family, Grandma and Grandpa Kresl, Great Grandma Kruse, and Aunt Lori. The theme of the party was Daniel's Number 1! So don't worry, Juli provide big foam fingers for all of the kids and a big foam finger-shapes ice cream cake. It was cute! Benny had a GREAT time playing with his cousins. Sammy not so much, since he didn't get a nap. He did enjoy all of is presents though!

Tim and Juli had agreed that we would arrive at 11:00 in order to get everything ready for the party. We were at least 15 minutes late, but still the first ones there. Luckily, Tim found his letterman jacket to wear in case he got chilly.

at the zoo entrance, you can make out the boys saying "where is aunt MAE-gan??" if you listen closely... samalamadingdong is starting to look more like boo-bear, esp in the pic w/ tim holding him. awwwwwwwwwwwww. the lincoln park zoo RULES and is FREE, j/ for future reference.
