On a beautiful fall evening, I thought that it might be fun to take the boys outside and make some S'mores. I got an enthusiastic, "Mommy, that's a great idea!" from Benny and a "YYYYYYeah!" from Sammy. So the Kresl family headed outside and Tim started up the grill.
I thought these two pictures together were kind of funny.

Anyway, the boys had never roasted marshmallows before, so they thought it was pretty cool for about 2 minutes before they got tired of holding their sticks.

Sammy's is chocolate-less because of his allergies, but it didn't matter anyway. In typical Sammy fashion, all he wanted were the graham crackers.
After the first round, Tim and I decided that the chocolate needed to be softer. So with a little teamwork, we roasted marshmallows and warmed the chocolate over the fire. The end result was delicious.
The boys have asked several times since we made them if they could have them again, so I think they had fun. Who knows, maybe we'll make them tomorrow....
