For Tim's birthday I really wanted to have a party but Tim did not. I thought that since he was turning 30, it was a big birthday and we should celebrate it. For a split second I considered a surprise party since Tim really did not want a party, but he threatened divorce if I even considered it. So, no surprise party. However, we did get to have a party for him on his birthday, and several of our friends were able to come. The two nicest surprises were that Juli and Ken were able to come down, and my sister Megan also came down. Thanks again to Grandma and Grandpa Kresl for taking the Kresl boys and the Mahorney crew for the night!
Erik brought his fire pit over which actually worked out really nicely. We were able to sit outside around the fire and talk. It was still a little chilly out though.
I decided to go with a fall theme instead of the obligatory Over the Hill theme for the party. My favorite piece of decorating was the pumpkin. Guess if Tim thought it was lame, but guess if I cared.

I didn't get a picture of Ken and Juli, but I did get a picture of their present. In case you can't read the hat, it says "Sexy". Tim has worn it to bed every night since his birthday.

Even though I had a party for him, you can see that he still loves me.

The only problem is that I bought a Cold Stone Creamery cake to feed 14, and we never even took it out of the freezer that night. Tim and I are still tackling the beast.
