A 3 year old and a toy phone

All of the loyal readers of our blog have seen the great pictures that Renee and I have taken with our cell phones over the past year and a half. You have, if you've been with us for the long haul, seen some of Benny's picture taking skills. Now we have some of the pictures Benny has taken with our cell phones. I'm not sure if Renee showed him how to do it, but on both of our phones the same button turns on the camera and snaps the pictures. It's not rocket science but I'm pretty impressed that Benny can do it, especially as well as he does it. I think the picture below will prove that he is capable of taking the pictures by himself.

This is one of those early weekend mornings that we just love. Renee and I get to sleep in until at least 6:00 A.M. and Benny will request that Renee put on her 'sunglasses' the second he enters the room. If we pretend we are asleep we can rest for another 20 minutes or so but Benny makes sure that both of us don't fall back to sleep. Most times my lovely wife will get up and try to entertain him for a while but before I know it the boys both climb on the bed and yell "Surprise!!!!" to wake me up. They usually wake me up during the climb but what fun would it be if I didn't let them yell at the top of their lungs?

Benny has figured out where the lens is and tries and tries to get the perfect self portrait.

It's comical to watch him turning the camera back and forth, making sure his finger is still on the button while trying to line up the perfect shot.

The picture below might be the best one yet. It's not very flattering but when considering it has the majority of his face, you gotta hand it to him for his never give up attitude.

And now, the newest installment into Benny's photo gallery.
"Yawning Daddy Early On Sunday Morning"

"The Changing Table Early On Sunday Morning"

I think your posts with Benny's photography are my favorites. Love the one of you guys sleeping and the self-portraits are hilarious.

By the way, are you joining the OCH fantasy league? We need some more teams, and I'm counting on you to step up to the plate...

I paid $18 bucks to see a very similar show in Dupont Circle a few weeks ago. That kid is a genius. Or maybe I'm a chump. Probably both.
