Happy Valentine's Day

To My Husband:

I waited my whole life to find you, and I'm glad that I was patient. I couldn't ask for a more loving, supportive husband. I also never dreamed that I would find a father who would be so patient and loving. I know that our boys think the world of you. I know I tell you a hundred times a day, but I love you!

I wrote you a poem, you'll find it in our house. But I thought that it was so romantic that I needed to share it with the world.

A Love Poem

by Renee Kresl

Roses are red

Violets are blue

I love you so much

Because you don't smell like poo.

Happy Valentine's Day!

You think you're so tricky but you're not. I love you too. But I would love you even if you did smell like poo.

Awww...how sweet! Happy Valentine's Day, you little love birds.

Renee, your post made me think of the poem TLK once left for me. I opened my car door after a hard day's night at the DQ to see this little ditty sitting on my car seat:

Roses are red, violets are blue
Sugar is sweet, and I swear we didn't jack with your car.

I turned on the car and was (not) surprised to find the parking break was on, wipers running, brights on, seat pulled all the way back, and mirrors askew. Oh, you crazy kids and your high school pranks.

That's my kind of poetry.
