A couple months ago my sister Caroline sent me these 2 pictures that she had found at my parents' house. It was not until today that I figured out how to convert the files and share them with the world!
These treasures are thought to be taken circa 1991. The top one is believed to have been taken in the summer of 1991 at my grandparents' house. I was 11, Megan was 7, Caroline was 4 and Grace was around 9 months old.
A couple observations:
1) My bangs and triangle hair are AWESOME.
2) If you like Megan's haircut, the Kenny women doubled your pleasure that year - my mom had the same haircut.
3) Could Grace look any more like my dad? Here is a closer look.

In case you can't tell, Grace is the one on the bottom.
These pictures just reminded me that this was the prime time that Megan and I had had Caroline convinced that she was adopted from an Indian family from South Dakota and her real name was Ashenda. Ah, such happy memories.
Below is a classic example of the annual Christmas card picture.
A common color theme? Check.
A smile that has been plastered on because this is picture number 23 of a 24 exposure role? Check.
Posed in front of either the tree or the fire place? check.
Huge glasses? Check, double-check.
Dad dancing behind the camera to lighten the mood? An assumed check.
Once I showed these pictures to Tim, he decided that he was purposely kept from seeing this picture until after we were married....

And Tim thought my teal dress was hott. Those glasses are outrageous! I think I had the same ones.
Hitting puberty in the early 90s...good times.
this MADE my night
WoW! Speechless. Ok a thought. Lucky for us someone in the Kenny family had sense to keep them from Tim or we may have not had such a great in-law!
I know there are some wicked pics at our house too. How about the huge one hanging in the family room? I think some hair dos could compete.
thanks alot for that. if you show these to anyone i am romantically involved w/ until after i am married i am disowning you as a sister. but i wl continue to see the rest of your family. mom and dad clearly hated me, heinous.
So the interesting thing is that I haven't seen you since sometime around that era (sophomore year in high school?), so you are preserved forEVER in my mind that way.
OH GOD, what does that mean your mental image of me is? My dad did NOT dance behind the camera.
Well written article.
