Good Grief!

Before having children, I was not fairly warned about the unwanted attention that they can bring to you in public places. Yesterday afternoon, the boys and I went grocery shopping. I was prepared for a few minor embarrassments, like the boys talking too loud, or throwing a tantrum. Luckily there were no outbursts like that. We were at our last stop, which is the high-traffic dairy case. I was making our dairy selections, and Sammy had decided that he'd had it. Here is the how the next 30 seconds went down:

Sammy: (In a whining voice) My booty hurts!

Benny: What Sammy?

Sammy: (in a louder voice) My boooooty hurts!

Benny: What Sammy? Your butt crack is sore?!

As I'm trying to hurry away unnoticed, my cell phone starts ringing. The ring tone - It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year. Needless to say, I received several snickers and knowing glances.

OMG, I'm dying over here. That is so funny. Your boys crack me up! Do they have the "Who's on first" sketch down yet?
