Christmas Eve

We had a very nice Christmas Eve celebration with the Kresl/Kruse side of the family. It actually began on the evening of December 23rd in Dwight. That evening we braved some questionable driving conditions and made our way to Dwight to celebrate with Tim's family. We exchanged gifts, ate too much, and the boys had a great time playing with their cousins. The Randles received a Wii from Santa this year and they brought it along to Dwight. Benny and Sammy had a great time playing baseball and bowling on the Wii.
Everyone was sleeping over, but Tim and I had to work the next morning. So the Benny and Sammy slept over with all of their cousins while we went home for the night and went to work in the morning. We hear the boys got to stay up until almost midnight. When Benny was told that it was time to go to bed, he informed his Aunt Juli that she was "the meanest aunt in the whole world." Outstanding.
The next morning, Tim and I returned to Dwight and headed to Herscher with the rest of the family. We got to spend some time with the Kruses and I had a nice time visiting with Tim's aunts and uncles and his cousins. If you look at the collage above, you'll see that the annual great-grandchildren picture has gotten pretty crowded. Luckily, all the kids enjoyed playing with all of the toys down in the basement most of the day!
