Happy Halloween to one and all! The boys had a fun Halloween this year. About a month ago, I started really asking Benny and Sammy what they wanted to be for Halloween. They were indecisive at best. I kept making suggestions, but nothing really interested them. They decided that they wanted to be an elephant and a monkey. Interestingly enough, this is what they were last year. At first, I bawked at the suggestion, thinking surely the other parents at preschool would judge me.
At school, the boys get to have a Halloween party every year. The parents are always invited for the party and then there is a costume parade. It always gets a little tricky for me because I have to move back and forth between rooms for the party. Both the boys always enjoy their parties because they get to eat lots of goodies.

After the parade, we headed over to my office. I work for Country Insurance, however, I work for the bank part of the company. We are housed in a different building from the insurance. In our building it is apparently a big deal to bring your kids in and have them trick-or-treat. It was really neat because EVERYONE had candy to give out. Even the president was out greeting the kids and handing out goodies. By the time we finished, the boys' buckets were completely filled with candy. Sammy's was so heavy that he couldn't carry it anymore.
We headed home and ate some dinner after work. The boys still wanted to go out trick-or-treating even though they had an obscene amount of candy already. So I dumped their buckets out into Target bags and we set out. The boys had a great time running from house to house.
